Rainham Ramblings
Rainham Ramblings
It's an unusual sight on the streets of Rainham to see not one but two leading Tory Councillors, especially when there's no new building to be opened or a photographer to smile at. So, imagine my amazement at spotting both Rodney and Diane Chambers delivering leaflets at the weekend. I wonder whether they will take to a spot of door-knockng to find out how the residents of Rainham feel about their Police Station being boarded up, a Cluttons' estate agents "For Sale" board outside. Wasn't it the Tories who said in their 2003 local election campaign that they would keep Rainham Police Station open?
